Since August, many, many hands and many, many eyes have been thinking along the Callamiou-Dadaörs axis in a skyline, on duck feet and along waves.
Countryside Animafest Cyprus and Primanima have a history of friendship. This year, for the first time, we announced a joint international programme for young visual artists. The Contemporary Animation Horizons programme included workshops, screenings, masterclasses and exhibitions in Cyprus and Hungary.
The team continues its work at Primanima with the mentoring of Tamás Patrovits. The aim of the workshop is to think of animation not just as film, but as "visual art in motion", brought to life in an exhibition space. The installation at the Major is a collective cinema focusing on the dynamism of visual and sound effects. Dadaörs and Callamiou will not accept borders! Traditional audiovisual frameworks are dissolved and traditional media tools are unleashed at the exhibition space.
